Leads the firm’s outreach efforts by organizing events and participating in university and professional conferences where he regularly speaks on business transactions, entrepreneurship, networking and marketing. More than 15 years of investment banking experience with a broad knowledge of the mergers and acquisitions area. Significant experience in conducting transaction and industry-specific research in a variety of industries including, among others, the building products, metals, flow control (pumps, valves and filters) and energy distribution industries. Currently produces the firm’s quarterly flow control Industry In-Sight™ and Middle-Market In-Sight publications, as well as monthly articles for Pumps & Systems magazine.

David A. Kakareka, Vice President

Transaction experience includes assistance as a team member in various client representation projects in the building products, food processing and energy distribution industries. Financial industry experience includes analysis of commercial credit risk and underwriting parameters encompassing leverage, liquidity, debt service coverage and profitability of middle-market companies. Mr. Stark is a graduate of the University of Kansas (B.A.), the University of Missouri-Kansas City Bloch School of Management (M.B.A. – Business Administration) and the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law (J.D.).

Blake F. Breslau, Analyst
Financial industry experience includes financial statement analysis through quantitative and qualitative analytics for private companies in the manufacturing, life sciences/biotechnology, healthcare and retail industries. Mr. Breslau is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.S. – Science Business and M.B.A.).
