Manufacturing & Distribution
Companies that make and/or distribute products comprise the majority of the Middle-Market. While this includes the broad manufacturing and distribution segments, many of these companies straddle the line between these classes. For example, a manufacturer might own its distribution channels, a distributor might also conduct light assembly and thus would be considered a value-added distributor, or a fabricator might also distribute products produced by others.
